Application Requirements

1. Applications must be submitted 60 days before the proposed exhibition date.
2. The following must be included with the application:

• Proposal for the exhibition
• Samples of the works
• Curriculum Vitae

Rental Fees

Artists
S$250 per day
(minimum duration for exhibition is 14 days, excluding 3 days for setup and tear down of exhibition)

Art students and recent graduates*
S$150 per day (minimum duration for exhibition is 12 days, excluding 3 days for setup and tear down of exhibition)

Printed Materials

The Gallery will require all participating artists to print materials for their exhibition such as art postcards and/or catalogues etc.
For promotional purposes, the Gallery will retain 50% of the remaining printed materials that have not been sent out as invitations. The Gallery can commercially distribute its share of the materials to cover part of the promotional costs if necessary.

Press Release

The Gallery will send necessary information to the press and media.

Equipment/Materials

Reception, Postage, Materials etc
The Gallery can assist Artists/Exhibitors with the preparation of the opening reception, mailing of invitations etc. Cost of reception, postage, frames and other necessary materials will be borne by the Artist/Exhibitor.

The Gallery will assist artists with the preparation of the Opening reception, mailing of invitations, purchase of frames etc.
Cost of reception, postage, frames and other necessary materials will be borne by the artist.

Clearance with Censorship Board of Singapore

The Artist/Exhibitor is responsible for obtaining approval and clearance from the Censorship Board for works to be exhibited at the Exhibition.

Insurance

Artists/Exhibitors who exhibit in the Gallery are strongly recommended to acquire insurance for their works against theft and damage such as fire, flood, vandalism etc.

Orita.Sinclair.Int'l Pte Ltd shall be under no liability to visitors, participants, artists, any persons who enter the premises, use the premises or any part thereof for accidents, happenings or injuries sustained or for loss of or damage to their property or chattels in the premises.

Commission

The Gallery will acquire 25% of the proceeds from sales of art works during the exhibition.

* Recent graduates refers to those who have graduated within one year and who have never had an exhibition of his/her works in any establishment before. An age limit of twenty seven years apply.
